Our Commitment to Your Privacy

We are dedicated to safeguarding your personal information. Therefore, we handle your data strictly in compliance with applicable laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Telecommunications Act 2003. This privacy policy explains how we manage your data on our website.

Contact Information

When you contact us via our website’s contact form or email, the details you provide are stored to process your inquiry and address any subsequent questions. We do not share this information with third parties without your explicit consent.

Data Storage Practices

To facilitate the purchasing process and fulfill our contractual obligations, our webshop uses cookies to store specific personal details, such as your IP address, name, address, phone number, email, credit card information, and other necessary data.

We also retain personal information (e.g., name, address, date of birth, phone number) to process contracts. This data is essential for completing the contract or pre-contractual measures. Without it, we cannot finalize the agreement. We do not disclose your information to third parties, except for sharing credit card details with the payment processor for transaction purposes and providing necessary details to our accountant for tax compliance. We share data with service providers responsible for maintaining our IT infrastructure, databases, and newsletter services, all under a data processing agreement in accordance with GDPR Article 28.

If a purchase is not completed, all stored data will be erased. For concluded contracts, data related to the contractual relationship is retained for the legally mandated period, typically seven years under tax regulations.

Data processing is based on legal grounds outlined in § 96 (3) of the Telecommunications Act and GDPR Article 6 (1)(a) (Consent) and/or (b) (Necessary for Contract Performance).

Cookies Usage

Our website employs cookies and similar storage technologies, which are small text files placed on your device by your browser. These files do not harm your computer.

Cookies enhance our website’s usability. Some cookies remain on your device until manually deleted, enabling us to recognize your browser during future visits.

You can configure your browser settings to receive notifications when cookies are placed and allow them on a case-by-case basis. Please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain features on our website.

Social Media Integration

Our website includes links to social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. These third-party sites may collect data, and we have no control over their cookie usage or access.

Web Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service by Google Inc. (“Google”), which employs cookies to generate data about your website usage, including your IP address. This data is sent to a Google server in the U.S. for storage. Google uses this data to evaluate website usage, compile reports for us, and provide related services. Google may share this data with third parties when legally required or when third parties process this data on Google’s behalf. Your IP address will not be linked to other Google data.

By using our website, you consent to Google processing your data as described above.

Newsletter Subscription

When you make a booking, purchase, or inquire with us, we process your personal data under GDPR Article 6, Section 1(b) and (f).

If you wish to receive our newsletter, we require your email address and confirmation that you own the email address and consent to receiving the newsletter (double opt-in).

You can withdraw your consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter. The legal basis for data processing is GDPR Article 6(1)(a). Your data is used solely for newsletter distribution and may involve link tracking to improve content.

Our newsletters may contain tracking pixels, small images in HTML emails that allow us to track email opens and clicked links, helping us analyze campaign effectiveness.

We may use your child’s date of birth to send marketing emails related to bookings, always via the parental email address used during the booking. You can object to this use at any time.

The personal data collected via tracking pixels is stored and analyzed by us to optimize newsletter content. This data is not shared with third parties. You can withdraw consent for this use at any time, and we will delete the collected data.

We use the “NumBirds” service from Sports and Tourism Digital Services GmbH, located at Brixner Straße 3/3, 6020 Innsbruck, for newsletter distribution. We have a data processing agreement with NumBirds to ensure your personal data’s confidentiality.

You have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, and portability of your data, withdraw your consent, and object to data processing. If you believe your data protection rights have been violated, you can file a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority. In Austria, the supervisory authority is the Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, Wickenburggasse 8, 1080 Vienna, [email protected]).
